Bio Sample 1 is an exhibition book designed to enhance people’s knowledge and understanding on Bioart, an art practice where artists work with biology, bacteria, and living organisms to challenges our perceptions of life, technology, and the evolving relationship between humans and the natural world.

This book showcase the work of six bio artists who transform the scientific biomorphology into the masterpieces of art through unique mediums and methods. Through this book, viewers will foster a subtle understanding of the connection between biology and us.

The swiss binding and naked binding enhance the authenticity and professionalism of the content, highlighting the subject of the biological sciences. 

︎︎︎ Interior SpreadsOrganic shapes and images of the interior pages add fun to the reading of professional bioscience articles. The “blue-purple” theme color is set to  hightlight the scientific attribute. 

6 artist sections are differenciated by colors to create an organized reading experience for the reader. Each color refers to the corresponding artist’s artwork. The side stripe on the frist page of each artist section borrow the style of bio sample labels, making each artist an object of study and creating an immersive reading experience for the reader.
