As a cultural and art exchange centre supported by the government, the Beijing Performing Arts Centre has had high expectations since its early days. Thenew brand identity showcase a demonstration of connecting audiences with the artistic fusion of the Beijing Performing Arts Centre. Rooted in tradition but energized by modernity, the Centre is dedicated to introduce a new interpretation of performing arts — an accessible and immersive space for everyone, regardless of social standing or income. Here, we blend the rich heritage of classical performances with avant-garde styles and cutting-edge technology, crafting an experience that speaks to the next generation.
This brand system encompasses two distinct visual design approaches: one dedicated to promoting the Beijing Performing Arts Centre as a whole, and the other tailored to highlight each individual theatre within the centre — namely, the Concert Hall, Drama Hall, Opera House, Dance Theatre, and Amphitheatre.

The symbol features a square and a circle, where the square symbolizes the past and the circle represents the future. A curve cut from the circle connects these two shapes, visually embodying the Beijing Performing Arts Centre's mission to blend traditional and modern art through advanced technology. The gradient transition from red to blue further reinforces this concept.
