Personal Project
Social instinct is an innate human drive to maintain social relationships. However, many children with Autism experience delays in this instinct due to a lack of understanding and practical tools.
Seek is a parent–child collaborative music game that helps these children practice basic social instincts in an engaging and rewarding way, with a focus on attention focusing, pointing, and verbal responding. The game features four modes: one main game and three targeted sub-games (each designed to train a specific social instinct). During play, the parent and child step onto illuminated musical note pads on the carpet and follow lighting and vibration cues from touch-sensitive modules worn on their hands to trigger melodies. Through repeated play, this game enhances the child’s sense of collaboration, focus, and parent-child connection.
