CONTEXT

Age-related bilateral hearing loss, known as presbycusis, is a prevalent condition among older adults. It accounts for approximately 51% of all hearing impairments, and there is currently no optimal treatment available.

PROBLEM

My 85-year-old grandfather suffers from severe presbycusis. This inability to perceive sounds often makes him feel insecure and neglected. While realizing that his daily life was greatly affected by his hearing loss, I feel obligated to help seniors like him to improve their quality of life through research and design.

SOLUTION

Design an integrated app system and physical product to enhance the daily lives of seniors with presbycusis, leveraging technologies such as voice capture, AI-driven recognition, and intelligent detection.

LOGO DESIGN

Inspired by the shape of the ear, the final logo presents a contour curve of the ear that connects the chat box and the sound source represented by the bottom dot.

SITEMAP

The sitemap clearly presents the app’s features, outlines navigation across different sections, and shows how to connect with the hearing aid.
